Carrying on from this I believe it was pointed out that the treating oncologist may decide to keep treatment going if well tolerated.

Does anyone know the maximum length of time 2nd line mcrc chemotherapy can continue without adverse side effects ( as I understand the longer the treatment the increase or build up of side effects), particularly in light that the study involved 8 months of treatment. Given we are way over the expected completion date is it possible that some patients have stopped their chemotherapy and are in remission?
