Actually paps,
I wish I had have waited for 75c
I'm lucky I sold half in the 80's recently when I was very distressed about the price.
Can't see this going ahead. Just sharing my thoughts as a lot of us were convinced about this project.
Now I'm starting to see the MMX like to put a positive spin on everything. Cost savings on $5.2bill...nows its about 6, There was never a suggestion of anything near 3.7bill on Jack Hills and now what is the defered payment going to be?? $2billion, I highly doubt it. This has become a high cost, high risk project that will be extremely volatile with the price of iron ore. If iron ore drops below $120/tonne they will be likely to face losses.
Have they given any estimates on what they want to charge for the rail usage? All they have given is the small amount that is needed to maintain the infrastructure.
I don't think it will go down below 50c, because they have a deferred payment coming to Crosslands from Mitsubishi.
