sorry - don't agree.

You discount an abstract element - "market sentiment".

This is a bit like that amazing sight of watching a school of fish - how on earth do the whole mass of "fishies" know precisely when to turn to follow the leader.

And the fact that many these days don't have brokers, but rely on their own assessments and gut feelings. Not reading anything except an occasional press release can leave people floundering with regard to what to do next. Does one buy, hold, or sell.

In between the trivial flim and flam so prevalent on these sites - there IS some excellent information to be had - and whilst much of it can be discounted, I agree, some of it is extremely well considered, and, certainly on a small scale, can, in my opinion, have quite an influence on share sentiment - and subsequently, share movement.

There are an awful lot of small minnows out here - ready to grab their bites in between the "big boys."!

They operate on signals.
