I was just thinking about the inverted hammer, and the body that you found on the candle, and do hope that the two weren't related. Deano once told me that I can swing a mean hammer! I don't know if this is true, but I'll have a go! If I swing wildly enough, I might just take out a doji or two, if we're looking as though we may retrace a bit too far back. Some of them doji's may not be so cute!
I'm really having fun with the charts, Upstart, however, it's best that I don't look at them late at night, as I can start to see chart patterns that may not be there. I wouldn't rely solely on my interpretations just yet, however, they do give me enough of the indications that I need to know, as an overall part of making sound investing decisions. Like you indicated before, TA can be a bit like a compass.
