Rastus and Avarice, I also came across ecobiotics and the
Plexxikon PLX4032 information.

Regarding PLX4032, I found the following:

'...Data from a Phase 1 extension study of PLX4032 in metastatic melanoma patients with the mutation showed tumor shrinkage in nearly all evaluable patients, reflecting a 70 percent response rate. These results confirmed the preliminary safety and efficacy results seen in the previous Phase 1 dose-escalation study. In addition to melanoma, Plexxikon is also conducting a Phase 1 extension study of PLX4032 in mutation-positive patients with colorectal cancer.'

Ecobiotics EBC-46 compound sounded particularly impressive (to a layman) compared to PLX4032. I found it confusing that there was a number of references to Ecobiotics Ltd with an ASX code of ECB. Not sure if they were planning to list and have aborted. No new news since Nov. 09. Maybe someone has stepped in to fund them privately.
