Just a side observation and worth keeping an eye on is Regal Resources (ASX:RER) current pilot involving the Biogenic Methane Enhancement (BME) technology.

This process doesn't extract any water and only uses "supercritical water" to stimulate the methanogens within the coal to produce methane. Basically speeding up the whole process to produce potentially more methane than a coal seam would naturally.

RG was originally involved with BME and now MD of Regal Resources, Angus Edgar, is putting it through it's paces. Angus Edgar is also involved with Melbourne Capital who just administered ROGs CR.

Oh what a tangled web..........but an interesting one.

What would the Greenies complain about then? Zero chemicals used, zero water extracted and zero fraccing involved. Maybe then they would have to complain about the noise generated by the wind farms.

Interesting to see what lays ahead but still convinced CSG will be the energy source of choice. How it's farmed is still in it's early stages with industry technology consistently on the improve.
