    I recall Bernanke announcing recently a proposal to adjust US monetary policy to one of inflation targeting. Maybe, just maybe, in anticipation of what you predict ( arising CPI) he switches from a 'reflate the credit bubble' focus to a 'fight the resultant inflation' focus by means of inflation targets.
    Having written this, it sounds psychotic. But, he must know he has an inflation problem down the road, perhaps this is his mad-cap scheme to address it?
