Once they were not common place. They are now being written on a regular basis. In some ways the more the public becomes aware of this, with this view even now filtering into the mainstream media, then the more likely the game will be up.
Especially following the Madoff ponzi scheme which has highlighted corruption.
The gold doomsters all come along with similar flawed themes imo: such as the biggest monetary supply increase in history not being inflationary, interest rates dropping to zero world wide not being inflationary, gold manipulation not existing and being a fabrication of gold bugs, gold along with other commodities being in a bubble etc. etc.
Mind you, in the past I have written to a number of these commentators who described gold as being in a bubble and suggested to them that if so, then their salaries are also in a much bigger bubble than gold, and seeing gold should not reach its 1980 high, how would they like to work for 25 years with no salary increase or work for just the 1980 dollar salaries in their current employment?
