Not sure what is normal for this stock as I only bought in a week ago but according to the ASX site 18.62% of the volume turn over was reported as Short Sales for March 23rd. So basically a fifth of the sales are 'duds'. Mind you, they will come back to close those positions so that's when they off load with a pump. I'm a patient man, come and get it.....
PS: about 41.31% of WPL was shorted on the same day. For anyone interested, just go to the main ASX site, type in 'shorting' in the search box and you'll find it.
