Down here in the SW the timing is extraordinary. It started right on the full moon which was a blue moon[distant] and is ending right on the new moon which is a super new moon[close]. From the previous new moon to the last full moon when it started there was zero rain.

There are still showers coming through and the new moon is at 1.07pm, all Perth time.
