I know those little block and they cram houses on them so have little outdoor area, same with subdivisions in inner suburbs so homes so close together you hear them fart.

IMO battle axe block are stupid, the long driveway to the back house is waste of land. Hence when I looked at subdividing it made sense to me to knock down the old house and put in 2 town houses that would make for decent size residences with a decent size outdoor area
