The following observation is anecdotal but may be interesting to some here. I use LinkedIn Premium to monitor job opportunities and there is an ability to see where applicants are located. For Perth positions in technology and professional services roles I have noticed many seem to be getting '1-5 applications' from the "Greater Melbourne area" Now this just may be due to the larger market over there, but I thought it was interesting and may indicate some demand or willingness/intention to move to WA.
