The fact there are "thousands of Aussies who are fire brigade volunteers" is commendable indeed and everyone is to be admired for their efforts, including Tony Abbott. Fact.

Businesses which enable them to go to fight fires during work hours are to be held in esteem for their generosity. Fact.

How wealthy these businesses or individuals are, is irrelevant. We still admire them. Whatever pension Tony Abbott is drawing is irrelevant to what he voluntarily does by rolling up his sleeves and joing these good people is irrelevant. Fact.

The fact that you post that all Abbott does is "a bit of volunteer work" is a pathetic attempt to deride him because he belongs to the esteemed group of volunteer fire fighters is truly pathetic.

I guess, in your opinion, everyone other than Tony Abbott, are heros and never to be described as doing "a bit of volunteer work". Nor would ever any of them be drawing a taxpayer funded pension either. What this has to do with the issue is bewildering.

Unless, of course, you are simply hell-bent on looking for ways of attacking TA for even volunteering as a fire fighter.

Your hatred knows no bounds and fails the logic test. These people are, indeed, publicly acknowledged for their work. So, your post is full of holes and hatred for a single individual. You don't know how TA spends his time and money for the community, now do you???? lol
