Probably kinda dumb but I'm taking a small punt. Why? I use the app (even tho I have cash). ZipPay resembles a regular and unprofitable BNPL service. ZipMoney is more resembling a credit card, without the fuss. One of the few BNPLs to actually do proper credit checks.. at least to the same or similar standard as banks. I think good chance it all falls apart (too hard to turn a profit). CCs do make money tho, if it gets picked up as an alternative to traditional credit then it goes gangbusters. If it doesn't, well, I ain't betting more than I'm willing to lose.

It is a budgeting tool more than anything. If I can throw $100 a week at my Zip acc and not worry about variance with discretionary spending I know how much money I have to invest/ save / spend on essentials every week. It's worth a small fee. Regardless, I'm here on the prospect of lowered cash burn in the report next week, and a view for profitability without reliance on late fees.
