Firstly I said investment bankers.
Secondly they most certainly like scaring people (with help from their friends in the media) to get mum and dad investors to sell out so they can tank the price and buy in. Do you seriously think they are just nice guys playing by the rules? They have BILLIONS of dollars to invest and they can make the price go up and down at will.
Thirdly there is no way you can be this gullible to not realise the whole thing is rigged... but if you know how it's rigged then that means you have an advantage over others who may fall for it.
Buy low... sell high... especially when they are telling you not to.
