Many young people entering the workforce in some capacity (perhaps part time whilst studying, perhaps full time) don't have an established history with a bank and providers like Zip are a lot simpler, quicker and generally more attractive and accessible than credit cards.

You keep calling them lenders of last resort, but for many they are a preferred lender.
