This is silly.
If you thought they were going into liquidation you'd short your house on them because it's literally free money.
The shorts are closing because this stock is moving from a SELL SELL SELL to a BUY BUY BUY and the shorters are sweating. They have to get out before they are left holding the bag.
The bottom has been locked in at 44 Cents. What we are seeing now is the rebound.
As usual though in Hot Copper world... shares go up "OMG they are going to infinity"... shares go down "OMG it's going to Zero". Smart money knows at some point most shares bottom out and then have a fast rebound... and this is a chance to make money!
