you could most certainly be correct. but also don't forget that uni students and young adults that have been warned of getting credit cards are much more likely and already are using Afterpay and zip for everything. I work with tafe students and hear about Afterpay and zip on a daily from overhearing their gossip and everything else. They don't trust the credit card companies (probably due to their gen z parents rumours) and they like the transparency of most BNPLs and their services. have a go, call up Zip and ask them questions then call up any other credit card company and compare their service. mind u these kids aren't calling anyone, they use the app and that's it
