Let's face it the whole industry was set up to avoid laws governing credit provision. Charging fees instead of calling it interest, short terming it to avoid it being called credit and the youngest generation thought these gus were their friends, there to beat the bankers. IMO none of that is relevant or desirable any more and although store accounts of days gone by were popular and widely used, they are not worthy of a company with only one product - something has to give - either the end user or the shareholders
