There is no doubt that GEV is MB's vision and that he is driving this ship as fast as is humanly possible.
And although noone (except perhaps for bruham and LNG management) want to see something bad happen to him; given the depth of management now in place, I believe that the company could handle Maurice encountering a Chicken Tikka disaster.
