Looks like a continuation of a steady shift from different risk profile investors.
Sellers
a. High risk profile investors including day traders selling out of their BEPPA gains
b. Income investors that bought BEPPA for its yield in a pre-GFC environment
Buyers
We have seen substantial shareholder notices from some major offshore players, thus locals are probably under-represented.
I think there will be two catalysts to turn this around
- senior management changes
- re-inclusion in the index
Both are probably required to get real interest from locals. Expect it will recover quickly when it does, but who knows how low it will go before recovery.
Anyway, just my thoughts and DYOR.
Looks like a continuation of a steady shift from different risk...
