The loss saga is not over by a long shot. begining 18 months ago i warned about the parlous situation with all banks. It does not take an Einstein to identify the New South Wales bank who has an internal inquiry going on relating to the home loans fraud.
Two other banks have come into our sights now in relation to holding a huge bad debt folio. But NAB must take the cake for believing their massive losses could be swept under the carpet with a few lies.
KPMG is a typical example of the auditors independence rules that cannot be maintained unless there is strong unambigous legislation to prevent a duplication of services and a conflict of interest.
