I too love Australia but it does not mean I will denigrate my birth place. Like you said your grandparents are English/Indian. Born England became prosper in India and gave birth to you. Similarly you are Indian/Australian, never forget that. For economic reason people do migrate from one place to another.

You said you were born in India and arrived in Australia in 1950; 60yrs ago. So how much experience you have about India? When did you last visited India? Talking about Class I would say among all minority community you were the only community addressed as Anglo Indian; as opposed to Punjabi Indian or Gujarati Indian. Anglo Indians are a privileged community with Goa as well known and prosperous touristic place.

I am glad you love politicians, Australian politicians, but I have not seen those wearing Speedos?

May your grandparents bless you with common sense!
