My post was really to offset the statements made that Australia was a raceist country,and that I,and my family were speaking from an imigrants point of view.

We came here without any baggage, we adopted this country and everything about it, because we loved it.

I dont see myself as anything but Australian. when Alexander Downer senior presented me with my certificate he said "you are an Aussie now Bill". and that's what I have been ever since ( and in my view that's what everyone that comes to this country should do) and I am very proud to be one, and that's is what I said.

As for not seeing any Politicans in Speedo's, it's been on the news nearly every day, and also in case you missed it as well Tony Abbott was ironing his shirt on National TV.
so where were you?.

As for common sense and balance,I would be far out in front of you.
