hmmm - if you read a fair amount of the recent research - nothing seems conclusive - but, the general feeling one gets from findings is that homosexuality is actually a positive for human survival (not certain about other animals).
What does seem to be getting much clearer is that it would definitely not result in species extinction - and, may well assist in survival --- against what one would consider logical on the surface.
probably fairly early days in the research - but, there do seem to be trends emerging which are difficult to ignore.
