The best thing MS did for me was when he announced light sweet crude during the drilling of Kurnia. I sold into that. Many didnt, and got burnt.
He promoted a 75% chance of success at Gurame, but the sp never ran much on that pre result, (Kurnia scars still healing for some ?) only modest besbs gains for that one.
Move on IPM was probably their best idea at building reserves (as opposed to longshot drilling)but market simply didn't support it, which said something about IPM management vs COE management.
Apart from a modest buy early sell before spud play, I dont see much attraction in COE's assets or management track record to create sustainable shareholder wealth.
