I have just posted over on lifestyle and travel today regarding Cazzex's loss, and now I have just read this thread. It is always difficult losing a loved one, and a parent is even harder.
I really agree with Iron Mike's post. July 2 was the anniversary of my dad's sudden passing. 9 years since he rode on ahead. I have been thinking about all the things he has missed in those 9 years, my wedding being one of those things. Also, so many things I wish I had said to him.
But I guess we just have to think how lucky we are to have shared memories with those who have left us. At least we have that. They are always with us in our hearts.
