Akida will not allow training of large CNNs on a mobile phone, you can run pre trained CNN's but not train them - which requires enormous resources. It is an important distinction. You can see BRN explicitly stating as much in the NICE video saying they have to rent (expensive) time from Amazon for training. It is possible that RAIN (or BRN or someone) may achieve that moble phone CNN training the long term but that is probably years off. Akida does allow for local SNN type learning, but training a large CNN is different.
