Agree.
And a US Patent wont give global protection of our IP —and from what I understand, there's no "international patent" that will protect an invention all over the world.
In view of this, the only real protection of our IP outside the US would come from embedding protections against reverse engineering, probably the most critical part of the Research and Development for our NSoC.
