I bought the latest huawei mate 20 and its a cracker of a phone. China have really picked up their game in relation to quality products and the mate 20 is up their with the latest iPhone IMO. I have owned IPhones since iPhone 3 and was the only smart phone I would buy.. until now.
The problem is China will duplicate Akida if they could get their hands on the data, I have no doubt about it.
I love the fact that a Chinese company (if that is the case) is liking our product but its the motives behind the attention.
Given the urgency to be the first to develop true AI amongst the competing global powers nothing would be off the table to gain superiority.
I would tread very careful with providing any detailed information to the Chinese companies and would prefer to miss an opportunity /sale to avoid self destruction.
