serenitytaki-the simple answer is they lose,big time,now i dont wish to offend,however i think you should buy a few books on share investment,trading i would not like to see
anyone not aware of the significant risk at present,look at some charts,long term ones,some stocks vg. stocks are trading at 1996/97 levels,and there is a real probability of them falling further.

in saying all this there are also signs of falling spreads
and reduction in volumes,however this could also signal the stall before the next leap into the abyss,so buy books,study,
believe all markets are cyclical and cause financial pain/agony for everyone at present wether they are aware or not.
