That is what a statistician / economist / mathsmatician type would tell you....
But the reality is simple. After 40 flips landing the same way statistically there is only one answer...the flipper is cheating. (BTW i'm not implying EXM is cheating...just having a go at people who only look at things in one way...maninly stats peolple!)
Hence would you ever bet on the 41st throw...I don't think so.
