re: vcr:major tradin lesson from syringe syringe,
I kind of remember a similar conversation a couple of months back with you about HTW.
At the time I said that the HTW low trading volume then made it a bit too risky.
Also since, as you claimed, you the almost the only buyer made it even risker since if you wake up one morniong and decided to exit your postion, it will be a very narrow doorway for the rest of us to try to get out at the same time, especially since the only buer, you, is no longer buying.
You also were short PHY, a stock I had a nice and profitable long postion and you were absolutely convinced of the logic of your short postion.
You wer pushing a short position in VCR also at that time.
Coming forward a couple of months to today,
- nothing seems to have changed with HTW, except it is down about 10c or so in price, wtill no trading volume and no buyer except for you
- PHY was a fantastic and extremely profitable long postion
- I have taken a large long position in VCR below 80c that is now very profitable at todays price of $1.15
I see no reason to think that you know any better than me, of even better that the last taxi driver that was giving me he stock tips, what is a good investment.
I am sure you make money for yourself, in the recent market it has been hard to lose, but sometimes easy to confuse skill with luck.
