But one thing you said, sticks out like the proverbials. And that is that the General, because someone dared to interfere with him, was prepared to send all of his troops to slaughter as a punishment.

That is not the way a general should act. His priorities lies with his army, and the well being of all his soldiers. After all, no army, no General. Simple as that.

If he did what he did to punish the unsubordination, he should seek urgent medical advice.
