Hi Jembsb,
I never expected high production figures for this last quarter because of the late start and the ramp up but I didn't expect them to be as low as they are either. What is more, I cant believe that the company publishes broker reports on their website knowing full well that the production estimates in the reports can't be met. In fact the report is misleading in a number of aspects. Take a read of the Febuary 22 report.

As for the production figures for this quarter. When on maximum capacity they can process 250,000 tonnes of ore per quarter and they actually processed 135,020 tonnes which is 54% of production levels. This was to be expected given the late start and the commissioning of the plant. So if processing of the ore for base metal concentrate was meeting expectations then production of base metals would be

Copper 2500 x 54% = 1350 tonnes
Zinc 3500 x 54% = 1890 tonnes

They actually produced
Copper 449 tonnes = 33%
Zinc 1462 tonnes = 77%

It will be interesting to see how things improve.

I emailed and telephoned the company and they are expecting to be at maximum levels before the end of this quarter.
