I have not looked latish is the arvo at SBM since the trades totaled around 7 million and the share price around 14.5 cents and have now come back to see that over 25 million shares traded and SBM had only dropped 0.5 cents to 15.5 for the day. That is the second day this week that 5% or more of the issued shares were traded.

Is something cooking. I dunno. I am the last to know.

I did get the feeling that there were some bigger players interested in SBM but were holding off. It looks like they tricked the market to hand them shares cheaper than if they had been buying from the start of the day.

I know the gold price does not look too flash and SBM has "problems" but if Bobby Vee can fix Simberi and the current AUD POG remains, I think they have a reasonable shot of staying alive in the longer term. If the POG takes off (unlikely in the short term) then we are on the gravy train.

Still a pretty risk play - but it is so darn cheap.
