Can you elaborate on your comment as it doesn?t appear to stack up to me:
"The risk is T + 3 over the next few trading days as many, inevitably, trade with money..."
Only certain brokers give you an offset and this is T+1 only (i.e. buy today but must sell tomorrow and at higher $ value). T+3 relates to cash settlement and not trading with money you don?t have!!!!
