Did any of you guys attend the presentations around oz last week? I think John covered at least 4 cities.
My point is this. I was at the Sydney one and came away very much with the impression that something at the Corporate level was about to happen....
It got to Q and A time and he got talking about the relationship with Eugenho's previous owner...Anglo I believe, which is also Mr Schmillians(?)(Brazilian country mgr) old firm....I then asked about the buy back clause on Eugenho and then a bloke behind me asked about surrounding tenements....John then explained that Anglo owned the lot...and lots more...to which someone else asked the question about taking them off their hands as they were never going to do anything with them aka Eugenho....and the answer came back 'no comment' then a repeat of the same.....'no comment at this time'
Now there was a bit more to come and gave me the indication that we would have answers in 2 weeks....now I could be barking up the wrong tree but I reckon MUN are trying to take all second / third tier projects off Anglo / whoever else....essentially lots and lots of Eugenho's.....
Now wouldn't that be nice....makes sense as the global firms have no interest in these projects...let MUN do the work and perhaps the global firm retain 30% as a free ride?
Just thoughts....shouldn't cost a penny and don't forget MUN's Brazilian country Manager used to be the GM of brownfield exploration at Anglo as far as I remember....
George Jones must be on the plane right now for the opening ceremony on the 15th March...next Friday...GOLD!
