You need to check the facts on this, as it has been proven to be based on a lie that has been parroted by others here on HC. The base rate is $744 for a 38 hour week.

I'm a Qantas shareholder and I am disappointed in how Joyce treated Qantas passengers. Qantas is going to loose a lot of previously loyal customers over this.
