As an observer, after following the fortunes of this "company" for some time, I'm concerned for shareholders.
The directors are perhaps not devoting their full attention to the task at hand.
The ethics of the directors, whomever they may be, must be called into question when the sp is allowed to slide inexorably towards oblivion.
I understand that one director "at the coal face" is bearing the burden and doing the best he can but, the other so called "directors" are abrogating their resposibilities. In this respect I am reliably informed that not only are they devoting an inordinate amount of time to "other" interests such as the associated companys: Gryphon and Adamus, but also to what must be seen as a futile endeavour to establish a gold prospect in China!
No one that I know of has ever made money from investing in China ! Sure, money has, and is to be made from selling raw materials to China. But, I doubt very much whether any Australian company will ever be established successfully in that country. It is far too corrupt, backward and jealously guards it's in situ wealth.
I know for a fact that Rob Gardiner (who made the mistake of adopting "Day Trader" as the Halcyon vehicle) and his helpers, have expended an enormous amount of time, money and effort in endeavouring to establish their credentials in China. This appears to have been to the detriment to Halcyon shareholders as it has been a MAJOR diversion.
I wish the Halcyon shareholders the very best of "British", but unless the recalcitrant directors change their attitude and actually give their prime attention to Halcyon, I fear the worst.
Good luck to all who hold. I suggest you give serious consideration to the re-appointment of the existing directors at the AGM in November!!!!!!!
p.s Whilst I acknowledge that Rob Gardiner did pick a prime piece of WA real estate for his play, it apperas to be languishing due to a lack of director support and corporate direction.
As a further example of this, I have been informed that another junior hopefull gazumped HCY on the acquistion of a producing gold mine near Kalgoorlie. Something which, if the directors gave their full attention too, should not have happened !!
