Share offer closes this week. I for one won't be buying into it. Don't get me wrong, I love this stock. In my view, it is a great growth story and given its industry and business model, a relatively low risk story. I'm not buying for several reasons. Firstly, with the Greks situation looking wobbly, there is every chance we could see some short to medium term downside over the coming months. At the moment NXT is at $1.92, only .02 cents above the offer price. It wouldn't take much for it to be trading at $1.80 or perhaps even a bit lower, particularly of the Greeks don't get their act together. It is also already 15 percent of my portfolio. Also I am looking at reducing some debt in the coming months, so that if the wheels do fall off I will be able to pick up some stock at a discount.
If this does unfold this way, and I am not an investor who wills stocks to go down so I can buy more, I will probably pick up some more.
in my view, NXT is an outstanding long term buy. If my debt to equity ratio was better and if the offer price wasn't near market value and if the Greeks could run their economy better, I would definitely buy more.
My tip - $3.00 to $3.50 by the end of next year.
