WA. The West Australian reported a flood barrier failed at its Garden Well pit which was filled to an average depth of 45 metres. The company’s Rosemont pit was also affected by the weather. The miner reported it may take 3 months to pump the water out.
Who knows if there are heavy rains within 3 months again? That was why Co. could not provide production guidance.
It has good chances that it is going to rain heavily again when the 45m depth water is bumped out in half way, as the 3 months is too long to predict.
