Since Bali is yet again in the mainstream media and may I add once again for all the wrong reasons, I thought I'd add my two cents worth.

I have never had nor will I, the inclination to travel to Bali/Indonesia, it is abundantly clear how visitors are treated by them, well it is for me. Perhaps many others cannot see the obvious and that's why they continue to travel there in their droves?

For a nation that supposedly has such a tough stance on illicit drugs they seem to be extremely freely available? Seems to me there's one set of rules for their own people and yet another for western visitors?

I simply cannot understand why Australian's and of course other westerners travel there. Yes I appreciate it's "dirt cheap" but there's an old saying, "you get what you pay for".

Watching the behaviour of Australians on television in Bali makes me cringe, it's nothing short of embarressing.

All in my humble opinion. ;)
