Dead set, Wealth, got a lot to do with it. Seen drunken Aussies trash businesses, damaging paintings of Tanaloh, etc. The Balinese (Hindu) are generally great. The troublesome ones used to be the Javanese Muslims. they used to get up your nose selling their gear. BUT, they are only trying to make a living..... Australians used to behave very badly. If they carried on the same way in parts of Java where I worked, they would have been killed. Bali is really NOT indicative of Indonesia. Elsewhere, you can be killed with a Galok or a poison dart. No appeal, no one gives a poop. Local justice is done, bye, bye....
