Doesn't matter where you go, show respect get respect. Most of Bali is nice and the majority of people are lovely. I went last winter with my two kids. Before we left Australia we learned some Balinese. My six year old daughter and my eight year old boy trying to speak their language gave us all a warm welcome wherever we went. I still prefer thailand because of their incredible food but going to Bali is cheap and rewarding if you know where to go and how to respect the locals. My experience anyway. nata12
