    This sounds exactly like a 'Fintech' player operating in a Grey zone. Companies like FICO exist for a reason, and they charge a lot for a reason. All these companies running propitiatory 'algos' are not really testing your creditworthiness, they're just estimating where you are in their probability of default curve based on heuristics, and offering you money like a loan shark. They will win in the aggregate thanks to fees and quick short-time credit turnaround, someone like you might lose because they should not have been given money when they were. This is precisely the problem being addressed right now.
