The majority Inuit people will clearly not benefit from their new government. Education is compulsory for 6 years (6-16) but who would go to/send children to school in Greenland in winter or bad weather?. The video showing waste disposal was an eye opener. Highest suicide rate in the world, alcoholism, domestic violence, the list of social ills goes on showing poor standards for every measure. However the people will be blamed and suffer the consequences of government decisions. I agree that those who will benefit are the 40% employed by the government or government businesses (such as waste disposal) who rely on things not improving/changing as their means of financial stability long term.

However, there is many a slip betwist cup and lip as they say, and I’m content to sit on the sideline and see this play out.
