A lot of bad press today about the floods in northern NSW.
Fact is, its not a bad flood, and it is an area which gets floods regularly. Coraki is the most frequently flooded town in NSW. If insurers are insuring for floods there, which I doubt, then they are charging huge premiums. Anyhow the houses in Coraki are on stilts and even if the road into the town is cut off for 2-3 days, the actual damage is low because THEY ARE USED TO IT.
Unlike the recent hailstorm which creates huge numbers of claims.
