I would suggest there are too many long term holders than will not consider anything less that around $5.00. I doubt the short term punters would have the numbers to carry through any lesser offer.
As to the price movement of IAG ahead of todays announcement, it just goes to yet again demonstrate how "level" the playing field is (not).
