It's true - a company can't be expected to always forecast future earnings in an accurate manner. Nonetheless they must update the market when evidence exists that would warrant a change or withdrawal of guidance. Similarly, a company is not permitted to give/reaffirm guidance when it knows (or should know) its unlikely to be achieved.

S+G was either unethical or inept in its behaviour. Either way, I want my money back! Yes I know I probably won't get much back, or maybe even any. But I still want this matter taken to court so management can be pulled over the coals and we can all finally get some answers about why things turned out like they did.

Just curious if anyone knows what's the best case scenario if the ca does get up for previous shareholders? 5 to 10% of loss after 3 plus years? Or am I completely off?
